The purpose of this new award is to promote the exposure and experience of Medicine graduate students in
presenting their research at scientific conferences as well as to recognize excellence in graduate student research.
Eligible are all full-time graduate students in the Faculty of Medicine. You need to apply for the FGS Travel award (only need to apply to FGS fund, not be awarded it), present an abstract or poster at the conference and get matching support from your laboratory.
Applications have to be submitted through your department with deadlines at March 31 (for travel between April and September) and September 30 (for travel between October and March).

GSA Conference Grant
Conference grants from the GSA are available for graduate students attending or presenting at conferences. The application form can be downloaded below or from the GSA website. You can apply at any time of the year, as the and grants will be disbursed monthly. Filled application forms can be submitted through the HSGSA office or at the GSA office on Fort Garry directly.
